You are the way, the truth and the life

Why so much anxiety? What is there to worry about? Why is so much despair in your eyes?  It looks funny, very funny.  

            Life is precious. It is so joyful. Look around and you’ll be surprised to see that the whole existence is celebrating. Look at the birds. They are never anxious. They are never tensed. You won’t even find a very small gesture of boredom in them. Look at the trees, look at the fishes. They are never bored. They are all celebrating, why can’t you?

            Life happens only once. It does not matter whether you believe it or not. It is up to you to make life a blessing or a curse.

            Why can’t you just laugh? Don’t tell me why should I. If you are searching for a reason to laugh, then I would say that you are a stupid. Why can’t you laugh at your very inability to find a reason to laugh? Why can’t you laugh at yourself? “No, it cannot be done.  I am very egoistic. Laughing at others is OK but laughing at myself? My God! Impossible”. If this is going to be your reply, then I cannot help you. No one could help you. No God, No Prophet, No Messiah could help you. Every fool laughs at others, in fact, only fools’ laugh at others. Wisdom laughs at itself and that very laughing is the first step towards enlightenment.

            Life is a sheer joy. I know that you cannot agree with it. You have been taught that life is 50-50, 50 % happiness and 50 % misery. Happiness and misery are the two sides of the same coin called life. But I am saying to you that life is a sheer joy. It can’t be otherwise. Your miseries do not exist. It is your own creation. To be more specific, it is your mind that creates all kinds of miseries that you think that exist. Once you master your mind, you will be mastered in the art of finding happiness in whatever situation you may get into and the key to that very finding is nothing but wisdom. It is the only way that leads to eternal bliss. It is the only door towards salvation. It is the only path towards Nirvana, Towards Moksha. It is the way Jesus shown to Thomas when Thomas asked him “how can we follow you for we know not where you are going, how can we know the way. “ Jesus said unto him,” I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”

            Christians have misinterpreted this statement. They have changed the real meaning of what Jesus said and gave it another meaning and made their God a very egoistic character. What it actually means that the person who says ‘I am the way and the truth and the life’, is the way, the truth and the life. It is true when Jesus said it. It is also true If Buddha says it. It cannot be false if Krishna says it. Same is the case with you and me.

            It is true that you are the way and the truth and the life. But do you know who you are? You may say many things. You may say that I am so and so. You may say that I am a Hindu, or a Christian, or a Mohammedan, but is that true? If you were born in a Muslim family instead of a Christian family, you would have been a Muslim instead of a Christian. If you were born in a Buddhist family, you would become a Buddhist. If you were born in a Zoroastrian Family, You would become a Zoroastrian. It is stupid to declare that you are a Christian or a Hindu or a Mohammedan. You are beyond all these nonsense.

            Just think about it. Like this you are identified yourself with many silly things. You may identify yourself with any nationality, with any caste or creed, with your body, with your mind….when you go deeper and deeper, you will know that you are not all these things. Then who are you?

            Somebody asked the Buddha, “Who are you? Are you a God?” Buddha said “No, I am not a God”

            Then he asked,” Are you a Gandharva? A musician of God” Again Buddha said,”No”

            Then he asked “Are you a Chakravarthin? Are you a King? Are you a man? And for these entire questions, Buddha replied the same.
            The questioner got furious and finally he asked,” Then who are you? If you are not a Man then are you an animal? Buddha said,”cool down. I am not an animal either. I am awareness, pure awareness.

            When you go deeper and deeper with the ultimate question “who am I”. You will be freed from all the nonsense that you have been associated with. All rubbish things that you identified yourself with. In other words, you will be freed from all the prisons you were into. Ultimately you’ll be free and out of that freedom will come wisdom.

            Jesus said to Thomas,” I am the way and I am the truth and I am the life”. Thomas was an uneducated and unintelligent man. What he did is that, like every stupid Christians, He followed Jesus and reached nowhere. Just think. Has Jesus followed anybody? Has Buddha followed anybody? If Jesus was following somebody, He would not have been Jesus. If Buddha has followed somebody, He would not have been Buddha. Followers never reach anywhere. Find yourself, Trust yourself, Believe in yourself and say loudly, “I am the way, the truth and the life” and see the magic that is going to happen in your life. You will immediately reach The Heaven!!! It is the place where Jesus lives. It is the same place where Buddha lives.

            When I say Heaven, Don’t think about the world somewhere above the sky, a world of white clouds. Don’t think about angels and St. Peter and the streams of wines and the marvelous Hooris’. Heaven as a physical place does not exist. When I say the word Heaven, I mean a spiritual destination where Buddha is meditating, Where Jesus is giving sermons, and Where Krishna is dancing. Jesus calls the place “The kingdom of Heaven”. Buddha calls it “Nirvana”. Hindu Mystics call it “Moksha”. Prophet Mohammed (SAW) calls it “Jannah”. Only names are different, the place is the same. You can also reach there, but for that, you need to trust your instincts. You have to follow your intuitions and make your own way to reach there. Following anybody won’t do . The greatest masters never leave any footprints for others to follow. They will simply allow you to follow yourself. They will throw you back to yourself and will give you strength and support to make out your own way.

            Is it not a good idea to be a God?!!! Jesus became a God. Buddha became a God. You can also become. I should not have used the word BECOME because you already ARE!!!. You are God! You have learned that God is omnipresent. He is everywhere. He is in you also. When he is in you, you are a part of God and a part cannot be separated from the whole. The part is the whole. Suppose there is a cake and you have cut a small piece from it. Now tell me is that piece not a cake? Hence you are God. When I say you are God, Don’t be egoistic. Everyone is God. There is nobody who is not a God. But for you to understand that you are God, you need to know who you are. Only then will you be able to see the Godliness within you.

            If this news that you are a God does not make you happy forever, then nothing could do that.
